  2. Thanks for linking to my review! I appreciate it! The more I talk about The Windup Girl with people who have read it, the more I have come to appreciate it. I figured that would happen. The writing style is still the part I am lukewarm to.

    My pleasure. Its funny how some books continue to haunt like that. When I read the Life and Times of Michael K a few weeks ago, I was lukewarm about the writing style, but the more I think about it, the more the book seems to give up to the reader. Its a slow burner type of book, and it sounds like the Wind-Up Girl might be like that, too :)
