I completely agree. I think it’s just a matter of marking teams attempting to put a fresh “spin” on it as they perceive demographics to be changing, or to keep material in line with other media (eg films and music).

I enjoy a fresh start approach, too!

I think chick lit is alive and well and it doesn’t always have to translate into hot pink covers. The idea of a fresh start, at whatever age, is always welcome.
