While I agree that there were character flaws, questionable plot line tie-ins, and the pacing could have been better, I thought it was far funnier than Uncommon Grounds. This book actually had be chuckling out loud to an empty living room, as Maggy's wit was in fine form. I enjoyed reading about a coffee convention, I liked the slow evolution of Maggy's relationship to the sheriff, and I was more than amused by the antics of Maggy's side-kick Sarah. Where some of the characters caricatures, sure, but for a fun fast read I didn't expect much more. Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series, especially if you think it gets better!
